Introduction to TicketLeap Scan

Would you like to scan tickets, look attendees up by name, and view live attendance stats on a mobile device? You can do all of this and more with our scanning app!

Note

This new app replaces the scanning app from previous years - if you've used that version in the past, you'll find that the new app is much different!

 

Download The App

iOS - Visit the Apple App Store to download TicketLeap Scan.

Android - Visit the Google Play Store to download TicketLeap Scan.

Setting Up The App

Note

To use this app, you'll need an Apple device running at least iOS 15, or an Android running at least OS 9, with a camera for scanning.

 

Log In

To log in, enter your TicketLeap account email and password, then tap Sign in and Accept the Terms of Service.

Please note: If you need to reset your password, please visit your TicketLeap account in a web browser and follow the instructions.

Select Your Events

First, you'll select your event (or events, if you need to scan for more than one event at a given entrance), then you'll scan tickets.

You can access this menu later to edit your selection by tapping the Setup button on the main menu.

Choose your events for scanning. By default, all of the current-day events are displayed. You can filter events by tapping the other date parameters at the top (Tomorrow, Yesterday, Range, or Search).

 

Once you have finished selecting events, tap Continue with [number] events, where [number] will reflect the number of events you’ve chosen. 

A list of all your selected events is displayed. All ticket types are selected by default for each event.

Optional: To filter individual ticket types, tap into the event name and select only the price levels you want to download.

To filter individual ticket types:

  1. Tap into the event where you want to view all ticket types.
  2. Select the ticket types you want to use on the device.
  3. Tap Done when you’re finished.

Finally, tap Done to save your selections.

Now you are ready to start scanning!

Network & Device Recommendations

The following recommendations should be met to scan tickets using the TicketLeap Sell app effectively. Please meet and maintain these recommendations to avoid network connection issues and app failures while selling tickets.

  • The Wi-Fi network that your devices are connected to should be a dedicated private network.
  • All devices should be within 50 feet of the Wi-Fi access point.
  • We recommend a minimum of 10mbps download and upload per device.
  • The device should be running iOS 15 or newer for an Apple device or Android 9 or newer for Android devices.
