With TicketLeap, event organizers can create custom discount codes for attendees. Discounts can be either a percentage off or a fixed amount off, and can be limited by event, event date, or ticket type.

1. From your dashboard, click Manage.
2. Select Discounts from the menu.

You’ll see a list of your current discounts. From here, you can create a new discount or edit an existing one.

Create a New Discount

1. Click + New Discount in the top right corner.
   1. On mobile, this appears as a + icon.
2. Add the Discount Code using letters and numbers only.
3. Select the Discount Type:
   1. Percent Off – e.g. 20% off the ticket price.
   2. Amount Off – e.g. $5 off regardless of ticket price.
4. Enter the percentage or amount, based on your selection.
5. Click Continue to proceed.

Select Events

Choose whether the discount applies to:

• Apply to all events – The discount will be available across all your current and future events.
• Individual events, dates, or ticket types – Apply the discount only to selected events or even specific sessions or ticket types.

If you choose Individual events, dates, or ticket types:

1. Choose Select individual events, dates, or ticket types
2. Click + Add Events. The Event Picker screen will open.
3. Use the search bar or scroll to locate the events you want. 
   1. Expand an event to select specific dates or ticket types if needed. 
4. After making your selections, click Select Events.
5. Review your chosen events, then click Continue to proceed.

Set Limits

You can control how and when your discount code can be used.

• Total number of discounts available is the maximum number of times the discount code can be used. Once this number is reached, the discount will no longer be valid.
   
• Limit the number of uses per order prevent buyers from applying the discount to a large number of tickets in a single order. You can also select Unlimited to allow unrestricted use per order. 
   
• Valid Start and End Date allow to choose the date range when the discount is active. This is a great way to create urgency and encourage early purchases.

When you're ready, click Create Discount to save your settings. You can now share your discount code with attendees!
