How do I add custom registration questions to my events?

Registration questions are a great way to learn about ticket buyers and attendees, such as contact information, t-shirt size, or dietary restrictions.

You can add and customise registration questions and waivers you want to be presented on your event's checkout page.

Adding Registration Questions

  1. Go to the Events tab, click Edit next to the event you want to add registration questions
  2. Go to Registration Questions, and click Add Question
  3. Choose the question format from a dropdown and fill in the details.
  4. Enable the toggle to make the question optional or required.
  5. Choose if the question should be asked per ticket or order and whether it should apply to all tickets or specific ticket types.
  6. Click Save.

By default, the first and last names are required when placing an order. Enable the toggle to require the first and last names on each ticket.

Display Settings

It is possible to restrict where your registration questions appear. You can configure the questions in the Settings tab to appear in both Online and Box Office transactions or restrict them to either option.

Disabling Questions

You can manage registration questions by deleting or disabling them.

If the registration question has been answered, it cannot be deleted; you can only disable it. If you need to edit the question, you must disable the existing one and make a new question with the desired settings.
